Parent Support Meetings: Spring-Summer Series
The Southwest Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (SWIDA) is proud to present Parent Support Meetings to provide a forum for families of students with Dyslexia. Reserve your spot for the Spring-Summer Series! You may join us for 1 date in the series or all dates. Based on community input from the recent kickoff event, the following topics of interest were identified for discussion:
- April 11, 5:30-6:30 MST– Dyslexia across the lifespan: Resources for learners in middle/high school
- May 9, 5:30-6:30 MST– Supporting learning and enrichment during the summer: Forum of favorite books and resources
- Sept. 12, 5:30-6:30 MST– Supporting kids’ social-emotional development and skills, with ideas and resources regarding anxious/depressive phases
As a community space, these discussions will focus on sharing related resources and information, and learning from one another’s experiences. We look forward to hosting this event series and connecting with parents in our communities. Participants must register below to receive the virtual meeting link for the series.
