Scholarships for post-secondary students

College planning can be overwhelming for all parents, students, and high school teachers and counselors. It is especially challenging for students with dyslexia as there are so many things to consider. IDA’s Fact Sheet, is a highly useful roadmap for navigating the whole process, from making sure students have current documentation of needs, to accommodations for taking college entrance tests, and later accommodations in college classes. To add to this Fact Sheet, SWIDA has asked several parents to each write about their child’s experiences at colleges here in the Southwest. (See right margin headings.)
